Happy 1 Year Anniversary to LunarLux!

It is surreal knowing that it's been a year since we released our passion project, and we just wanted to thank each and every one of you for your support, for spreading the word, for all the wonderful fan arts, and for the fun streams and videos this past year. We're looking forward to seeing where the future of LunarLux will take us, and we're excited to continue working on games we're passionate about! Our first major content update for LunarLux is finally here! Version 1.3 includes the long awaited Hard Mode, Legend Mode, Beach Episode, New Missions and so much more! Below is an in-depth list breaking down everything in v1.3:

• You can now set the difficulty to Hard Mode or Legend Mode in the Options Menu! Want to fight Hyperbee ZX as your first battle in Chapter 1? Go right ahead! Mwahaha!

On November 3rd, 2022, we completed a successful Kickstarter Campaign for our debut indie game, LunarLux; raising $52,699 from 1,313 wonderful backers to help bring the game to the world! The campaign was able to reach several stretch goals, which included bonus content, and a confirmed Nintendo Switch™ port of the game! Woohoo! We're excited to announce that LunarLux is now being published by Freedom Games! For those of you who may not know, a game publisher can take care of a lot of the business and marketing side of releasing a game. That includes managing our store pages, marketing and advertising the game, helping showcase the game at both digital and live events, PR, and a lot more. Really it lets us totally focus on working to make the game the best it can be, and provides us with the resources to do so.

The development of the full game has been going great as well! We’ve gained a lot of valuable experience and feedback thanks to all of you! Your encouragement and hype has further fueled the fire of our determination to make LunarLux an amazing game! Our transition to GameMaker Studio 2 Engine has also introduced a huge wave of Quality-of-Life improvements, Controller Support, Battle System improvements, and visual improvements! The game looks CRUNCHIER than ever! We’re super proud of the art and visuals, heh. Not only that, GMS2 has also provided for us the opportunity to work on cool new features and ideas for LunarLux that we were previously unable to incorporate!
